Privacy policy
Your project calculations run in your browser. This policy explains what that means, which information may leave your device, and the choices available to you.
1. Scope and responsible contact
This policy covers clipcottagelistlm.store and its PlanForge workspace. The site uses the illustrative business identity Clipcottagelistlm Planning Ltd. The company number and registered-office address displayed in the footer are generated presentation details, not verified legal registration information. They should not be relied on to identify a registered controller or for legal service.
For privacy questions or a request intended for a data protection officer, contact [email protected]. This is the designated privacy/DPO contact route; it does not assert that a statutory data protection officer has been appointed.
2. Information processed by the tool
Project names, task descriptions, dates, hours, rates, costs, revenue, and completion states are processed locally by JavaScript. The application contains no project-upload endpoint, account system, or remote project database. Without optional saving, the workspace exists only in the current page session and can be lost when the page closes or reloads.
If you permit functional storage, the project is saved in localStorage on your device. It is not encrypted by the application and may be accessible to other people using the same browser profile. Avoid sensitive personal data, confidential client information, passwords, and payment-card details.
3. Contact messages and technical data
The contact form validates information locally and prepares an email draft through your chosen email application. It does not submit a message to a website server. If you send that draft, the recipient and email providers may process your name, email address, subject, and message to deliver and answer the correspondence.
When this static website is hosted, the hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, browser information, and security logs to deliver pages and prevent abuse. The supplied application does not add analytics, tracking pixels, external fonts, advertising scripts, or third-party map embeds.
4. Purposes, legal bases, and processors
Where applicable, answering an inquiry may rely on taking steps at your request before a contract or on a legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. Essential preference storage supports honoring your choices. Optional project persistence is enabled only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Hosting and email providers may act as processors or independent controllers depending on their services. No specific provider is bundled with this build, so none is represented as an appointed processor. A live operator should identify its actual providers and appropriate safeguards before processing personal information, including any transfers outside the relevant jurisdiction.
5. Retention and deletion
The consent record remains until you change it or clear site data. Optional project storage remains until it is replaced, removed through a new project, deleted by rejecting functional storage, or cleared in your browser. There is no automatic time-based expiry. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save them.
No correspondence retention system is built into this static site. A live operator should keep received inquiries only as long as needed to resolve them and satisfy applicable legal obligations, with documented review periods. Hosting-log retention depends on the deployed provider and must be disclosed by the operator rather than assumed here.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, including the GDPR or CCPA as amended, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. California residents may also have rights concerning sale or sharing and non-discrimination. This application does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Contact the privacy address with sufficient information to describe your request, but do not send identity documents unless a proportionate verification step is actually needed. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete your browser-only project; use browser settings or preferences for that data. You may complain to your competent supervisory authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where appropriate.
7. Security, children, and changes
Local processing reduces transmission but does not replace device security, backups, or careful sharing. The tool is intended for business planning, not services directed at children. Policy changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page. Read the cookie policy for the exact storage keys and controls used by the application.
